Digital ASIC Verification Engineer

 Digital ASIC Verification Engineer Responsibilities:
You will work with digital designers to verify blocks and systems that perform complex radio, DSP and audio processing. 
Write test plans, create test benches, write and debug large numbers of tests, report and summarize results to team leads.
Write and read Verilog and SystemVerilog.
Write detailed test plans from complex block specifications.
Create and maintain block-level and chip-level test benches.
Write, debug and manage large numbers of tests.
Write constrained random stimulus generators and assertion checkers
Write bus functional simulation models.
Write Python scripts.
Run Verilog simulations (e.g. with Cadence Incisive).
Debug with waveform viewers (e.g. with Cadence Simvision).
Assess test coverage.
Model analog/RF components and wireless media (e.g. channel models).

Digital ASIC Verification Engineer Qualifications:
Expert level understanding of audio quality concepts (SNR, THD, SINAD, DR, etc.)
Bluetooth MAC and PHY (or other wireless protocols) verification.
Familiarity with standard digital audio interfaces (I2S, PDM, PWM, USB, etc.)
Familiarity with C-code/embedded firmware/debuggers.
Expert level understanding of audio DSP methods a strong plus.
Post-silicon validation skills are a plus.
 
Education/Experience
BSEE or equivalent, MSEE preferred.
8 + years of industry experience.
