Our client is looking for a DevOps Engineer who enjoys exercising a broad set of skills and wants to be a part of a close-knit team delivering a SaaS solution nationwide to the healthcare industry.
This individual will be responsible for automated configuration and delivery of software products in the dev, qa, and production environments in both the colocation and hyperscalar environments. A key focus of this role is the full rollout of containerized dev and qa environments in the cloud, as well as managing the automated build, test, and deployment pipelines.
DevOps Engineer Responsibilities
Automating the CI/CD pipeline to build and test code more effectively.
Collaborating with developers on ways to modernize and improve infrastructure, such as upgrading operating systems or migrating to Docker containers.
Deploying the latest cloud technologies to assist developers in integrating them with the core products.
Assist in the design of multi-server environments.
Streamline and enhance existing processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production instances. Willingness to dig until you find the answer.
Perform on-call support, as required, to maintain service level or production infrastructure.
Administration of enterprise server systems, including VMware, Windows, MacOS, MS SQL Server, shared document systems, and directory services.
Maintains technical documentation related to the configuration of the environments.
Other duties as assigned by management.
DevOps Engineer Qualifications
A.S. degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years’ experience in troubleshooting and configuration of environments.
2+ years’ experience with automated script creation.
Exposure to Continuous Integration and Deployment.
Familiarity with cloud containerization.
ITIL familiarity for release management.
Docker (or equivalent) containerization.
GoCD pipeline management for CI/CD.
Python, bash, and other scripting.

Ability to work across team boundaries and lines.
Willingness and ability to document your work so others can understand easily.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
