Our client is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their team.
DevOps Engineer Responsibilities
Develop and Maintain CI/CD Pipelines using Jenkins Shared Library. (Groovy and PowerShell).
Manage Code Deployments, Hot Fixes, Updates using Octopus Deploy or Similar.
Monitor and troubleshoot issues that arise in QA, UAT or Production. (Prometheus\ELK Stack).
Maintain and patch production cloud systems (k8s, jFrog Cloud, Jenkins, Container Registries, etc.).
Maintain terraform for all SaaS\IaaS environments.
Create and Maintain documentation as needed.
Maintain non-production environments.
Maintain Kubernetes cluster services (Prometheus Operator, Grafana, Istio, Jaeger, Ingress Controllers, rabbit mq, psql, ElasticSearch).
Provides subject matter expertise with ability to confidently resolve complex issues without escalation.
Create and maintain monitoring and alerting processes and systems.
Design and build reference architectures for DevOps processes under the direction of the architecture team.
DevOps Engineer Qualifications
Experience with multiple scripting languages. Preference for: Groovy, PowerShell, Python, Bash.
Experience with multiple CI Systems (GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub, BitBucket). Preference for: Jenkins, BitBucket, GitHub.
Optional: Experience creating or maintaining a Jenkins Shared Library or similar.
Experience working with multiple cloud providers. (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, IBM\SoftLayer, etc.) Preference for: Azure, IBM\SoftLayer, Google Cloud.
Experience with building\maintain build pipelines for any of: .NET Core, .NET Framework, C, C++, node.js, python, GO.
Nice to have:
Experience with Git and tasks such as Branching, Merging and Cherry Picking.
Solid Experience with Windows Server and IIS Administration.
Familiarity with DNS, Firewalls and Load Balancing.
Experience maintaining production Kubernetes environments.
Experience working with CentOS and Ubuntu Linux.
