Our client is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their team in Portland OR.
Support Project Phoenix in the de-hosting of the Care Advance application (CCA). Responsible for design and implementation of applications’ build, release, deployment, and configuration activities with focus on automation in an On-premise MS Windows environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, Engineering OR related field and nine years relevant experience in a multi-platform environment, including but not limited to application development or database development; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
7-9 years of experience supporting mission critical multi-tiered enterprise Applications.
Experience with on-premise, MS Windows systems (services such as IIS/.NET/JAVA/Tomee/MSMQ) automation using Ansible and Powershell DSC.
Proficient with relational databases (SQL Server), understand schemas, database structures and ability to write and debug SQL queries.
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to articulate concepts to a variety of audiences.
Specific Technologies to be Used and Level of Proficiency:
Proficiency with: Ansible, Powershell DSC.
Broad understanding in the following areas:
Source Control: (like Git, GITLAB, Bitbucket, Svn, VSTS etc)
Continuous Integration (like Jenkins, Bamboo, VSTS )
Deployment Automation & Orchestration (like Jenkins, VSTS, Octopus Deploy)
Container Concepts (LXD, Docker)
o Orchestration (Kubernetes, Mesos, Swarm)
o Infrastructure Automation: Tools like Ansible, Powershell, Puppet, Chef, and Terraform.
Experience with Cognizant Clinical Care Advance and Facets applications a plus.
Experience / understanding of utilization, disease and case management processes.
Experience with implementation and test automation.
Experience supporting web-based applications.
