Design Operations Manager
Our client is hiring a Design Operations Manager for their team in Beaverton, Oregon.

Responsibilities:
In partnership with Design Directors and Operations counterparts, shepherds seasonal workload and process, including calendar, design tools, and resource allocation to ensure timelines and business objectives are met.

Creative Catalyst: Champions group design efforts, maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners where collaborative relationships benefit the brand, product, and creative process (e.g. Product Management, Development, external partners).

Project Management: Ensures design team is aware of seasonal or project-based assignments and aware of deadlines and deliverables. 
Provides experiences and training that maintains highest level of competency among designers. 
Influences project direction by acting as integral part of design team. 
Mentors others by sharing business and design expertise.

Liaison: Represent our brands in a professional capacity within the design function and to cross-functional teams.
Collaborate with other managers within Design and across the matrix to increase efficiencies and ensure design excellence.

Process Excellence: Partner with Design leadership in the creation and implementation of design processes, creative teambuilding experiences, resource planning, and overall design-related needs to promote excellence in design at all times.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years progressively responsible experience in design, creative services, and/or project management. 
Strong oral and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and presentations. 
Leverages curiosity to understand challenges or underlying concerns, share ideas, and develop effective responses or elevate to higher management. 
Ideal candidate will demonstrate project management and process excellence, effective relationship building and self-motivation.
