The Client Services Training Specialist is responsible for the on-going development and delivery of case-specific training for new and existing Client Services staff. The Training Specialist will work closely with management to understand case-specific training needs and develop a training curriculum to ensure staff are appropriately aligned with business and client requirements. The Training Specialist must excel at producing highly detailed and accurate process documentation and training materials and developing trainings that are relevant, easily understandable and interpretable to all target audiences.
Dedicated Training Specialist Responsibilities
Work with the management team and department SMEs to prioritize case-specific training needs and objectives; develop content for training manuals and SOPs.
Adjust project components to meet changes in priorities, needs, and other business conditions.
Create training curriculum, technical procedures, and user materials including: SOPs, user guides, job aids, and assessments such as activities and testing.
Apply instruction design theories to visualize instructional graphics, user interface, and a finished product to create cutting edge on-line learning solutions (audio, video, simulations, activities, etc.).
Create effective mobile interactions, activities, and assessments.
Become an expert user of digital learning tools in order to teach others on the training team to create content.
Adhere to quality standards and best practices for developing instructional materials.
Assist in training all Client Services staff on cases (in various locations) including new hire on-boarding and existing staff with regard to new processes and procedures where appropriate.
Generate reports and statistics to quantify results of training initiatives.
Continuously maintain updated SOPs with improved processes, procedures, and documentation; review documents frequently for accuracy and efficiency.
Manage scheduling and logistics for training sessions.
Dedicated Training Specialist Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred candidate will have a Bachelors Degree in Learning Management or Instructional Design.
Minimum 1 year of experience in project management.
1-2 years of experience with a Learning Management System or digital/mobile learning platform (EdApp, Tovuti, Bridge, Docebo LMS, Moodle. Canvas, Blackboard, Adobe Captivate Prime).
Experience developing digital learning materials (write, design, edit, and test in systems such as Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Articulate Storyline, etc.).
Training experience strongly preferred.
J.D. preferred but not required.
Ability to learn proprietary systems and deliver content confidently and professionally to various audiences.
Ability to navigate through ambiguity by effectively and accurately shifting priorities and tasks as needed to meet business needs.
Professional, effective public speaking skills.
Ability to understand and restate technical concepts, logic and procedures in a clear, simple and meaningfully way.
Ability to interpret business needs and adjust projects, tasks and deliverables accordingly.
Proven and successful history writing technical/application training/user guides and other documentation.
Must be a dynamic, charismatic, proactive, highly motivated self-starter with a high level of personal accountability.
Must be able to handle high-pressure situations with calm professionalism.
Must be able to collaborate with own team as well as other subject matter experts to create deliverables.
Ability to understand and tailor content to learner requirements and modalities.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing; able to adjust for intended audience.
Demonstrated ability to create and maintain cooperative professional relationships.
Must be willing to travel (up to 25% of the time).
