Data Warehouse Engineer
Our client is looking for an experienced Data Warehouse Engineer who can lead an initiative to develop and scale our data infrastructure to support business intelligence across the organization for internal operations as well as enabling strategic decision support for clients who demand accurate and timely monitoring of class action and mass tort administration. You are a perfect fit for the role if you have a track record leading migration and conversion of legacy information systems into modern data warehouses and data marts delivering the highest data integrity and data quality for data-driven decision making, translating data into valuable action-oriented insights while mentoring a team of analysts to democratize data within the organization.
Data Warehouse Engineer Responsibilities
Work with data architects to modify and extend dimensional data models. (20%)
Deploy DDL to build physical database tables & views. (30%)
Work with ETL developers to design batch & real-time streaming feeds with high data integrity. (30%)
Work with report developers to build re-usable business objects and report templates. (20%)
Exposure to ETL batch/streaming platforms (Microsoft SSIS, Kafka).
Exposure to Identity & Access Management (IAM), LDAP, security, data privacy.
Exposure to application & systems integration (SOA, ESB).
Exposure to cloud infrastructure and services, SaaS/IaaS/PaaS.
Data Warehouse Engineer Qualifications
Four-year college degree or equivalent industry experience.
4+ years experience in relational database concepts, SDLC, Agile/SCRUM.
2+ years experience in source-to-target data mapping, enterprise ETL design, data quality governance and exception handling (Informatica, Pitney Bowes).
Kimball dimensional modeling (ERwin).
Business intelligence platforms (Microsoft SSRS/SSAS, Tableau, Looker, MicroStrategy).
