Data Analyst
This contractor position is essential to assist with the delivery of a telecommunication services across our client’s enterprise. The Data Analyst, IS Circuit Management will be responsible for collecting and publishing data sets with a focus to reduce costs of telecommunication services ensuring standards and performance expectations are met to provide a world class experience. The individual may also take internal business requirements and work with vendors to source the requests and or remediation to lower cost solutions. They will work closely with the data and voice network teams to understand the current environment and how changes will be implemented by the selected service providers.

Data Analyst Responsibilities
Customer contact to obtain specific information.
Create telecommunication orders and disconnects if needed.
Develop, maintain, and update order documentation.
Estimate costs based on standard price guides and or custom quotes from service providers.
Maintains customer rapport by listening to and resolving concerns; answering questions.
Develop and maintain program electronic file system.
Proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they become problems.
Schedule work and field crew internal and external use as needed for delivery of services.
Work with Accounts Receivable, Accounts payable, and Telecom Expense Management provider to make sure all invoices are allocated and accounted for are accurate.
Create and manage disconnecting legacy telecommunication services.
Program task management (as assigned by Manager).
Forecast month and yearly costs for each project and program as requested.
End of month explanations for variances in the forecast to actuals.
Removing obstacles and empowering internal operations teams to be successful.
Constantly managing and monitoring project progress, risk and the quality of the customer experience.
Manage project level activities which include but is not limited to critical path monitoring/alignment, procurement, resource loading/forecasting/conflict resolution and critical path risk identification/mitigation.
Lead efforts to gather all project level status to report on project status to all stakeholders.
Responsible for tracking change impact and delay impacts.
Forecasting and management of materials to facilitate the scheduled work on time and under budget.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
Maintains safe work environment by following standards and policies.
Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Complete project close-out documents and processes per company standards.
Assist in establishment of data administration policies, procedures and standards; ensuring the maintenance of each. 
Support departmental and technical staff in the development of strategies for storing and accessing existing data sets. 
Perform testing requirements related to table maintenance for each software upgrade. This includes developing test scenarios, verifying tests were successful and accepted by insurance carriers, and reporting software problems to Information Technology or software vendor. 
Monitor system tables and work closely with other departmental staff to ensure insurance information is accurate. 
Work closely with software vendor and Information Technology department to identify and resolve software issues pertaining to billing. 
Develop, maintain and monitor log of outstanding software issues relating to table maintenance.
Develop and perform processes to collect, reformat, and load departmental system tables and master files. 
Work with programming staff to develop and enhance processes for data loads. 
Recommend enhancements to existing corporate-wide table maintenance data sets. 
Perform basic validity tests against data received. Ensure complete documentation of specifications regarding source data sets (e.g. table descriptions, data descriptions, data diagrams). 
Accountable for ensuring enterprise data sets are consistent and sharable across all information systems. 
Works with departmental Supervisors to ensure appropriate billing compliances are met. 
Provide orientation and training to ensure consistent usage of master tables. 
Ensure prompt and courteous feedback to requestors of table maintenance updates. 
Assist in the reconciliation of data definitions across systems. 
Ensure completion of special projects as assigned. 
Demonstrate competency with all position related software programs. 
Consistent use of AIDET system for excellent service. 
Perform other duties as assigned. 

Data Analyst Qualifications
Detailed oriented individual.
Proficient in MS applications: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Excel Pivot, MS Outlook, MS Power-BI, O365.
Preferred knowledge of telecommunication services.
Preferred experience working with telecommunication service provider and their data.
BA in Business Administration or Computer Science preferred. 
Minimum of two years progressively more responsible work experience in a health care office environment. 
Experience in data control functions. 
Formal technical training, especially in data resource management principals required. 
Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects as required. 
Demonstrated computer skills including ability to move comfortably within functions or applications and other database skills. 
Knowledge of medical data processing practices, including knowledge of concepts of data. 
Strong written and verbal communication skills necessary, including excellent customer service skills.
Ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment. 
Strong analytical, interpersonal and ability to pay attention to detail skills. 
Excellent attendance record.
