D365 Systems Engineer
Our client will be hiring a D365 Systems Engineer to monitor and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 AX infrastructure and applications hosted on Azure.
Ideal candidate has experience working in a global environment, as well as supporting global system implementation.
This position will report to the Regional IT Director.
D365 Systems Engineer Responsibilities
D365 General System Administration – Production & Non-Production environments:
System monitoring & maintenance leveraging LCS and 3rd party tools to ensure the health and performance of the D365 environments.
Batch management; configuration, monitoring; issue management.
Workflow management; understanding, configuring, managing and troubleshooting Workflow based on business requirements.
Security management; Understanding and maintenance of AX security model and its elements with a focus on managing user`s role-base security.
BYOD (Bring Your Own Database); some basic configuration and problem resolution for data exports.
Application Issue Investigation and resolution or escalation of all D365 and related components technical issues.
Test fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved.
Posts software updates, drivers, knowledge bases, and frequently asked questions resources on company Help Desk system to assist in problem resolution.
Fields incoming problem tickets from end users to resolve application and software issues within D365.
Work with global team to ensure smooth running of D365 worldwide across multiple time zones.
D365 Systems Engineer Qualifications
2 years of experience as a Systems Engineer.
1 year of experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics AX Applications and technologies.
Knowledge of Azure Infrastructure: Azure active directory & Azure SQL.
Understanding of D365 reporting architecture, Integration Services and all related components.
Experience with a Global ERP implementation, preferably AX related.
Understanding of LCS (Life Cycle Services) for monitoring performance and resolving issues.
Understanding or Financial Reporting architecture.
Excellent understanding of Azure Infrastructure: Azure active directory & Azure SQL.
Experience in Retail desirable, along with a solid understanding of business processes for a sales and distribution company.
