Customer Sales Representative
Our client is seeking a Customer Sales representative to join their team in Portland, OR. The Customer Sales Representative is responsible for Viewpoint Software sales to existing Viewpoint customers including license upgrades and add-on module sales. In addition, the Customer Sales Representative will develop new business opportunities via self- generating leads for Cross Sell and Add on Modules.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Create and manage business development plans targeted to existing customers.
Generate add on sales through additional modules, licenses and new products.
Facilitate software evaluation process with prospects by collaborating with Sales Engineer team to provide high-level and targeted Viewpoint product demonstrations via the web.
Follow up on customer inquiries concerning Viewpoint V6 Software, as well as ones that fall outside normal support calls.
Prepare Proposals to existing customers for add-ons and license additions.
Attend and present at industry trade shows/conventions as needed.
Attend Viewpoint’s User Conference as needed.
Perform miscellaneous other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications of the customer sales representative
Strong sales skills including ability to manage and close sales and to consistently meet and exceed annual sales quotas established for the position.
Ability to discuss a product in an effective, professional presentation manner.
Strong organization skills to maintain and update CRM.
Ability to quickly develop and maintain a high level of knowledge of divisional software products and remain expert on current product knowledge.
Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Listens effectively, transmits information accurately and understandably, and actively seeks feedback.
Effectively presents and explains information to various group sizes and levels of knowledge.
Well-organized, self-directed team player.
Remains open to others’ ideas and exhibits willingness to try new things.

Proven successful sales record.
Strong and articulate telephone personality and the ability to create rapport.
Strong presentation and relationship building skills.
Basic knowledge of computers and standard Microsoft software.
Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or marketing plus experience in business development or sales or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Core understanding and working knowledge of the construction industry.
General business knowledge and understanding of accounting and project management principles and practices.
Work takes place in a variety of settings as follows:
In an office setting that requires the ability to sit and work at a keyboard and computer monitor for extended periods of time, and to communicate with team members, customers, prospects, and consultants by phone, computer, and WEBEX, and video conference.
In various settings related to travel up to 10% of the time. This may include travel via car, train, and airline, standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time, and overnight hotel stays.
Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
