Our client is seeking a Credit Manager to join their team. This is a very innovative company who is a world-class leader in their industry.
Credit Manager Responsibilities
Mitigate risk but analyzing accounts’ credit limits and set payment terms accordingly.
Document credit decisions and account follow up and ensure compliance with legal and company policies.
Train and coach credit and collections staff.
Ensure orders are billed correctly according to POs; resolve and release orders held for credit review.
Analyze reports to allow for proper forecasting and meeting company goals.
Respond to customer questions regarding payments, inquires, issues and providing customer account statements updating the system.
Assist with system updates, testing, documenting, and training the AR Team.
Act as the point of contact and provide required documentation to auditors.
Credit Manager Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance highly preferred.
5+ years credit and collections experience; experience leading a team highly preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Experience with ERP systems, Oracle preferred.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Able to multi-task multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Organized with a high attention to detail.
Strong analytical with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
