Credit Manager
Our client is seeking a Credit Manager to join their team in the heart of Portland, Oregon. This is a great opportunity to gain experience at a well-known company while showcasing your management skills and knowledge with collections and AR.

Credit Manager Responsibilities 
Manage credit staff members and oversee their day-to-day.
Post and allocate receivables, order management, collections, reconciliations, and credit limits. 
Maintain strong cash flows; resolve chargebacks and pay issues; monitor portfolios for trends.
Control bad debt and expenses; monitor receivables for trends and enforce stops to new credit.
Work along with collection agencies and outside legal contacts as needed; Be the main contact for credit insurance.
Negotiate terms and payment plans with internal stakeholders and customers.
Prepare AR/cash flow forecasting reports.
Establish policies and ensure compliance within collection activities.

Credit Manager Qualifications 
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
3+ years’ commercial credit experience highly preferred; experience managing a team.
Experience the in consumer goods industry a plus.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products. 
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a focus in customer service.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
