Credentialed Trainer
Our client to is for a Credentialed Trainer to provide end user training to staff on EPIC applications. Employees in this position spend the majority of their time providing training utilizing established curriculum and course content and provides training of one or more applications and/or designs training curriculum. Reports to the Senior Epic Training Manager. 

Credentialed Trainer Responsibilities 
Works closely with other credentialed trainers, principal trainers, informatacists, deployment leads, and analysts to design and deliver curriculum that is accurate, comprehensive, and consistent across the system. 
Provides training on specific EPIC application to new and existing end-users. 
Identifies potential training gaps/issues and works with other members of the training team to resolve.
Ensures availability of necessary training materials. 
Monitor student enrollment and manage attendance in training classes and tracks attendance as needed. 
May provide customer support on beginning and some intermediate class content. 
Acquires and maintains working knowledge of tools (e.g. SharePoint, HealthStream LMS, Microsoft Office, etc.) essential to the delivery of training. 
Works to consistently be prepared and professional in and out of the training room; develops and maintains expertise of application and clinical workflows. 
Mentors other credentialed trainers at the request of the Principal Trainer or Training Manager and partners with Principal Trainers and/or Training Manager to ensure that all training curriculum is clinically accurate and relevant. 

Credentialed Trainer Qualifications
Knowledge and understanding of adult learning styles. 
Ability to deliver training both in a one-on-one basis or in a group or classroom setting. 
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both interpersonally and on a technical level.
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technology and applications. 
Intermediate experience with MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as SharePoint preferred. 
Basic technical troubleshooting skills. 
Knowledge and understanding of technical writing. 
Knowledge and understanding of instructional design and development. 
Ability to adapt and respond effectively to the constantly changing healthcare environment and evolving practice of healthcare professions; and the ability to coordinate and facilitate teamwork and diverse groups. 
Training classes are held in various cities in all five company states/regions, therefore travel is required 90% of the time. 
Travel to home is approximately one weekend per month. 
Required training hours often include weekends and evenings. 
Minimum of three years experience delivering a combination of classroom, on-line and one-on-one training required. 
3-5 years prior classroom training experience strongly preferred; previous application training preferred. Previous experience in a healthcare or clinical setting preferred. Epic experience preferred. Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Education, Business Administration, Communications, or Healthcare related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
