Corporate Communications Manager
Our client is looking for a Corporate Communications Manager to join their Marketing team in Beaverton, Oregon. 

The Corporate Communications Manager will manage their external and internal communications. The right candidate will have an executive presence, know how to create and manage a holistic communications strategy and promote a positive public image for the company. This person will also need to work closely with executive leadership and develop the trust and rapport to develop professional communications and control the dissemination of information on the company’s behalf.

Phenomenal communication and writing skills are a must in addition to understanding an organization’s culture and the brand’s voice in the market. Experience in corporate communications, PR, and developing industry leadership presentations are important requirements to be successful. Your enthusiasm and positive attitude will help you gain the trust of colleagues and external parties alike.
 
Corporate Communications Manager Responsibilities
Develop effective corporate communication strategies and plans.
Manage internal communications and ensure that the company vision/mission, strategy, values, and key accomplishments are effectively communicated and understood throughout the organization.
Manage the PR program at the national and local level. Draft content (e.g. press releases) for mass media or company website.
Organize initiatives and plan events or press conferences.
Liaise with media and handle requests for interviews, statements etc.
Foster relationships with senior executives, partners, advocates and key influencers.
Proven ability to quickly internalize high level business strategy and connect the dots across the company to write targeted communications that are relevant, meaningful, and educational for various segments.
Collaborate with executive leaders, managers and marketing team members to identify internal communication needs.  Develop and execute plans.
Managing our presence and reputation locally. Proactively seek mitigation solutions in cases of bad publicity and effects on company/brand reputation.
Assist in development and communication of strategies and messages from senior leadership including keynotes, key customer and industry meetings.
Manage the Gold Deck process and set of information that can be tailored to multiple audiences but presents a compelling and consistent voice to the market.
 
Corporate Communications Manager Qualifications
8 years + of professional communications experience in all areas of Corporate communications including Marcom, PR, and internal.
Proven experience as a communications manager for executive leadership team.
Experience in copywriting, editing, and presentations.
Experience and knowledge managing Press relations, publications and the media.
Motivated self-starter with outstanding organizational and planning abilities.
Solid understanding of project management principles.
Experience in social media and content production is a plus.
Working knowledge of MS Office and Google Suite; photo and video-editing software is an asset.
Polished verbal written and oral communications and presentation skills.
Can manage timely issues and high risk communication activities as they arise.
Experience managing confidential and sensitive communications.
Events management and ability to facilitate large meetings and act as master of ceremonies.
Proficient command of English language.
BSc/BA in public relations, communications or relevant field.
