Our client is seeking a driven Controller to join and lead their team. This innovative cool client has been growing immensely in the last 10 years and prides themselves on a company culture that puts their employees first.
Manage Accounting and HR Benefits teams and their functions.
Prepare financial statements, journal entries, account reconciliations, month-end/year-end close.
Assist with financial analysis, forecasting, budget management, and revenue recognition.
Lead annual audit.
Establish and monitor internal controls to assist with guiding financial decisions.
Identify and develop process improvements.
Additional duties as needed.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field required; CPA a plus.
5+ years of GL accounting experience required with supervisory experience.
Experienced with handling mergers and acquisitions.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
Proficient in using ERP systems; SAP preferred.
Advanced MS Office Excel skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
Strong problem solver and adaptable.
