Distribute workloads, train, and coach accounting employees.
Perform financial reporting and gross margin analysis.
Responsible for banking activities.
Manage and prepare budgetary and financial projections.
Manage financial planning tools and be the point of contact for the functionality of all accounting systems.
Support the continuous development and implementation of accounting policy, best practice, and process improvements.
Additional ad-hoc projects as needed.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent education and experience required; CPA preferred.
6+ years of accounting experience with a home-building or residential development background required.
Experience with ERP systems with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
Strong knowledge of GAAP.
Solid analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, with ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
Organized multitasker with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
