Our Willamette Valley client is looking for a Controller to join their customer-focused team working with a stable, close knit group. This role offers a growth path to CFO and comes with great benefits and perks.
Responsibilities of the Controller
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing.
Manage budgeting and forecasting.
Income tax return research and review.
Prepare tax reporting packages.
Assist with C-Corp entities.
Fund writing management.
Purchase contract review and analysis.
Calculate loan interest.
Profit sharing plan administration.
Coordinate annual audits.
Support external 401k administration.
Bill of sale review.
Bookkeeping for multi-entities.
Oversee banking relationships.
Monitor Roth and retirement accounts.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Finance, or Business; CPA required.
8+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience; financial services background preferred.
Multi-state tax experience.
Knowledge of GAAP.
MS Office Suite experience, with skills in Excel and Word.
ERP systems knowledge; QuickBooks and ADP preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
Organized multitasker with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Can work independently and as part of a team.
