Our client is an industry-leading, high-tech manufacturer that has experienced significant 4X growth in the past decade. They have an immediate opening for a Controller to manage sales, standard margin, manufacturing, cost, and variance analysis functions. This unique hybrid role will have full P&L responsibility, which is excellent for building one's skill set and strengthening one's resume. This role will serve as a business partner, providing oversight for financial and operational analysis functions and managing the accounting team, working in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment. This is a critical position in the company and has a lot of visibility within the executive management team, interacting with the site director, plant manager, sales director, and senior manager. Responsibilities of the Controller
Provide financial and operational reporting and analysis to executive management.
Continuous development and implementation of financial and operational analysis policy, best practice, and process improvements.
Provide recommendations to leadership team.
Identify financial risks and possible resolutions.
Monitor budgets and spending.
Variance analysis.
Budget vs. actual.
Quarterly and annual forecasting.
Develop performance metrics and KPIs.
Month-end closing.
Journal entries.
Financial statements.
Lead annual operational planning.
Support annual audit process.
Assist with system implementations.
Other special projects and duties as assigned.

Controller Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
5 years of progressively responsible accounting and finance experience; supervisory experience preferred.
Manufacturing environment experience.
Knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, and FP&A.
Strong foundational knowledge of financial analysis.
MS Office Suite experience, with intermediate skills in Excel and Word.
ERP systems knowledge.
Demonstrated leadership experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
Organized multitasker with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Can work independently and as part of a team.
