Contract Administrator
Our client is seeking a Contract Administrator to join their team in Oakland, CA. This role is responsible for managing and maintaining corporate contracts.

Contract Administrator Responsibilities
Responsible for researching and analyzing existing contracts and making recommendations on various issues.
Review Applications for Grants submitted to NIH/Foundations and others 2. Review terms and conditions on Contracts before signature by AOR 3.
Review Prior approval submissions to NIH, DOD and others

Contract Administrator Qualifications
Experience Level: BA or BS required; plus 3+ years of direct relevant experience.
Ability to negotiate routine contracts.
Experience with NIH policy and regulation requirements for grants.
Organization and Prioritization of multiple task
Customer Service focus
Able to prepare and submit an application from RFA
Post-Award Grants mgmt. experience, i.e., Financial Reporting, FFATA, Grant Expenditures
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Must be highly organized with special attention to details.
Ability to draft and redline contractual clauses.
Must be capable of drafting contractual instruments including but not limited to amendments, addendums, statements of work, schedules, and exhibits.
Familiarity with a contract management system is preferred.
Office 365

PeopleSoft Grants module experience.
