Content Director
Our client is seeking a Content Director to join their growing team. In this role you will coordinate all content initiatives to support marketing, product marketing, and sales, with responsibility for managing the content creation process and producing assets that drive awareness and convert prospects. The ideal candidate will have a "Customer-first" mindset, with a passion for developing mind-opening, traffic-driving content in all forms, and is not afraid to take risks and be creative. You will be an expert in all things related to content and oversee the production of content for sales collateral, social media, public relations, and all other assets to support the business, including emails, landing pages, offsite advertising, and branded content. The Content Director will assume responsibility as a liaison between content strategy plans, sales, internal subject matter experts, and a team of freelance copywriters and editors.

Responsibilities of the Content Director
Ensure all content adheres to the brand standards and is consistent in style, quality, and tone of voice, and is optimized for all content channels globally, including online, social media, email, mobile, video, product, print, and in-person.
Be responsible for thought leadership position in the accessibility space.
Map out, own and integrate our content strategy into all marketing initiatives and campaigns.
Develop themed content calendar throughout all channels, leveraging data and messaging to drive the brand through social channels, website, PR, and webinars.
Dynamically test and optimize content to drive continuous improvement and engagement.
Oversee content strategists, writers, designers and act as arbiter of best practices in grammar, messaging, writing, and style.
Efficiently facilitate the content development process from the content assignment, editorial review, design, and publishing.
Be an advocate of the brand, promoting content both inside and outside the organization, and create employee advocacy culture to share out the content with their networks.
Must be highly skilled at copy-editing, experience in development of content style a must.
Brief and review the work of internal and external teams, including copywriters, digital advertising, SEO, social media, and digital programs to ensure consistency and quality.
Serve as a liaison to internal resources and vendors for Advertising, Designers, Content Freelancers, PR, Social Media, Video Production, and SME’s.

Qualifications of the Content Director
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or Marketing.
Experience: 8+ years’ experience in a B2B technology company managing a team of freelancers and coordinating content for digital, social, product channels.
Computer Skills: Mac proficiency, Microsoft Office 365, Google Suite, Hubspot Marketing Hub, Figma a plus, Prismic a plus.
