Consumer Research Manager
Our client is seeking a Consumer Research Manager to join their dynamic team in Beaverton, OR.
Consumer Research Manager Responsibilities:
Manage qualitative research projects in partnership with vendors, including recruiting, guide design, key insights, and reporting.
Synthesize new qualitative insights with existing knowledge (qualitative research, surveys, and behavioral analyses), and connecting to strategy and business implications.
Identify next research steps based on emerging trends, questions, and knowledge gaps.
Create compelling deliverables based on audience and forums.
Develop working sessions with internal partners to share findings and co-create next steps.
Consumer Research Manager Qualifications:
5 years marketing experience, expertise in consumer interaction/insight, research and design, proven ability to turn multiple insight sources into actionable strategies, strong ideation facilitation, experience driving consumer centric planning and development process.
5+ years of research experience, leveraging diverse methodologies and synthesizing findings from different sources (attitudinal research, behavioral data, competitive research).
Success in managing vendors.
R and Python experience is highly preferred.
Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Ability to be self-directed and quick learning ability.
Creative problem-solving skills, a curious mind, and an enthusiastic work ethic.
Proven ability to plan and manage complex projects.
Proven ability to identify and leverage key consumer insights to drive action within an organization.
Advanced analytical skills.
Retail or Digital research experience preferred.
Background should include at least two of the following areas:
Attitudinal research (user research or market research).
Behavioral analysis or modeling.
Design thinking, service design, or journey mapping.
