As the Creative Content & Systems Manager, you will manage our client’s internal communications platforms while supporting the SVP, Communications Director and the Senior Content Manager, Internal Communications in implementing strategic communication campaigns and initiatives. You will also serve as a liaison for stakeholders requesting operations and program updates on the intranet. This is a remote position.
Communications Manager Responsibilities
Plan and assist in content creation, appropriate placement strategy and message tone.
Responsible for posting content to company-wide intranet (SharePoint Online) and other internal communication channels.
Work with partner business units to build and manage SharePoint Online pages and resource hubs.
Build and send enterprise emails in a SharePoint Online environment.
Partners with the Internal Communications Senior Content Manager in coordinating management of the internal news and communications calendar for weekly, monthly and quarterly updates and initiatives.
Manage the development of interactive intranet components including polls, surveys and blogs.
Design and create visual components to support internal communication campaigns.
Be the point of contact for all intranet SharePoint Online intranet pages.
Work with multiple stakeholders including technology services to manage all intranet pages requests.
Communications Manager Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising or Business.
4-7 years of experience in a communications-based role.
Demonstrated excellence managing enterprise communications in a SharePoint environment, including building and updating intranet pages and sending emails.
Experience using JungleMail strongly preferred.
Extensive organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in written and verbal communications.
Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office 365, specifically Microsoft Teams.
