Collections Specialist Responsibilities
Contact customers regarding their account statuses.
Assist with setting up payment arrangements.
Determine financial qualification eligibilities based on individual situations.
Research information and update incorrect contact information.
Maintain documentation regarding all collection efforts and activities.
Discuss payment terms, taxes, and insurance with customers.
Other duties as assigned.
Collections Specialist Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
1+ years’ high-volume financial services experience; customer service focused roles highly preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes.
