Our client is seeking a tech-savvy Collections Manager to join their team. This company offers generous benefits, an on-site gym, and has been growing for more than 20 years.
Collections Manager Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operation of the department; ensure calls are handled efficiently and effectively.
Train new hires and provide feedback to team members.
Identify and coach on disciplinary and performance problems; respond/resolve employee relations issues.
Build out and monitor metrics and KPI's.
Coordinate with other managers to discuss staffing needs, scheduling, training methods, and developing reward/recognition programs.
Establish and implement procedures and processes that align with the department’s strategy.
Additional duties as needed.
Collections Manager Qualifications
3+ years supervisory experience; financial services experience preferred.
2+ years of experience in collections within a call center environment.
Advanced Excel and Access skills required.
Excellent communication skills including negation and follow-up skills.
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize work on multiple tasks.
Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
