Our well-known Portland client has an immediate need for a Claims Specialist to support their team. This is an opportunity to gain experience in a large financial organization.
Claims Specialist Responsibilities
Review claim documentation and identify next steps for processing.
Contact and follow up with external customers and vendors to obtain additional information and documentation.
Research claim-related information and make corrections.
Analyze reports and follow up with team members regarding findings.
Provide status updates to team members, customers, and external stakeholders.
Additional administrative duties and projects as assigned.
Claims Specialist Qualifications
1+ years of administrative or customer service experience involving decision making, critical thinking, and analysis.
Degree in Business preferred.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite.
Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new software and programs quickly.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on customer service.
High attention to detail and organization.
