Our Portland client is seeking a Claims Assistant to join their team. A successful candidate thrives in a dynamic environment and is a dependable team player.
Claim Assistant Responsibilities
Respond to customers via phone regarding claim inquires or information.
Create, review and send outgoing information packets.
Request and track records from external contacts and sources.
Process and sort incoming mail.
Additional projects and administrative tasks as assigned.
Claim Assistant Qualifications
1-year office support or administrative experience (financial services, claim, or medical experience a plus).
Associates/Bachelor’s degree, a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer service focus.
Strong attention to detail and organized.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete within deadlines.
