Claim and Benefit Processor 
Our Portland client is seeking a Claim and Benefit Processor to join their team. A successful candidate thrives in a dynamic environment and is a dependable team player.

Claim and Benefit Processor Responsibilities 
Review and manage multiple life insurance claims. 
Research and analyze missing documentation and discrepancies for numerous cases. 
Communicate with internal and external customers on inquiries, status updates, and claim decisions. 
Collaborate with internal departments to assist with life insurance renewals. 
Review payment entitlements and develop and execute a claims management strategy for each payee while adhering to state and federal payment guidelines.
Other duties and projects as assigned.

Claim and Benefit Processor Qualifications 
1 year insurance and/or claim experience.
Associates/Bachelor’s degree a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
Strong attention to detail and organized.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete within deadlines. 
Ability to work independently and as a team.
