Our Portland nonprofit client has been serving the community for almost 50 years and is looking for an experienced CFO with a strategic financial mindset to oversee financial management of their organization. Responsibilities of the Chief Financial Officer
Oversee accounting and audit functions.
Lead the continuous development and implementation of financial and organizational internal controls, policy, best practice, and process improvements.
Develop, train, and mentor accounting and finance managerial roles.
Revenue cycle management.
Prepare financial reporting and analysis.
Budgeting and forecasting.
Manage insurance programs.
Other special projects and duties as assigned.
Chief Financial Officer Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent education and experience; CPA preferred.
7 years of progressively responsible multi-funded nonprofit experience.
At least 5 years of managerial experience.
Strong financial management and reporting experience.
ERP or RPMS systems knowledge.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
