Our client in Portland, OR is seeking a CFO to manage the company’s mergers and acquisitions activities. This is a great hands-on opportunity to make an impact on a growing start-up organization overseeing multiple departments. 

CFO Responsibilities
Negotiate acquisitions, mergers, and/or strategic investments.
Oversee the preparation and issuance of financial information.
Create and manage finance-related activities such as finance strategies, financial projections, price models.
Ensure all required filings with the SEC and State Securities departments are completed.
Monitor all open legal issues and report risk issues to the audit committee of the board of directors.
Prepare, review and update company pro forma financial projections, compare with actual results and report to senior management and the Board.
Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts. Arrange for debt financing and equity financing and Invest funds for efficient cash management.

CFO Qualifications 
Master's degree in Accounting or Business Administration, or equivalent business experience.
10+ years of progressive experience for a major company or division of a large corporation, including 5+ years at the CFO position, including at least 2 years with a publicly-traded company.
MBA in Finance or Certified Public Accountant / Certified Management Accountant preferred. 
Experience with mergers and acquisitions, highly preferred. 
Experience in managing, negotiating IPO, sale and/or exit strategy.
