Business Systems Analyst
Our client has an opening for a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) role on their Shared Services team.  The BSA role is responsible for assisting functional teams with business enablement through technology.  This position reports to the Manager of Applications and is on a team of other Business Application Support Analysts (BASAs) and/or other BSAs that serve the Marketing, Finance and Accounting, Sales and Human Resources teams as well as globally leveraged communication and collaboration applications. This role is remote with EST hours preferred.

The BSA 
Works collaboratively with BASAs as a backfill and escalation for incidents, problem management and root cause analysis.
Understands the goals and strategies within functional leadership and aids them in identifying opportunities for leveraging technology to accomplish their goals.
Understands and documents business requirements, including data and process flows, and translates opportunities into business enablement via technical solutions.
Cnducts quality assurance testing and end user training on technical solutions and then manages user acceptance testing.
Supports end users through solution implementation and stabilization .

As a BSA You will be Expected to 
Provide project management and status reporting.
Collaborate with the finance team and the functional teams to create Business value justification for projects, then help establish baselines and the measurement of value harvesting.
assist with organizational change management and the adoption of both Process and technical changes.
Serve as an application subject-matter-expert (SME) capable of finding best fit solutions within commercial off the shelf (COTS) applications for continues improvements.
Engage directly with customers as a SME on how technology might be used to improve or enhance their digital experience.

Responsibilities
Assist with the implementation of a new global Financial application and serve as the ongoing application subject matter expert capable of supporting the global Finance and Accounting team with application-to-application integration development and testing as well as continuous improvements and increased automation.
Collaborate with global sales and marketing teams to improve adoption and deliver more value out of their sales and marketing applications.
Work with Accounting, Finance, Sales and Marketing to help them leverage BI Reporting capabilities.
Work with the other functional support teams and global user communication to find opportunities to get more value out of productivity, communication and collaboration tools within Office365 including Excel, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint.
Identify super users capable of leveraging citizen developer tools like Power Automate and Robotics. Process Automation (RPA) and then work with them to find appropriate ways to leverage these solutions in their processes.
Establish a governance model around citizen development and empower citizen developers to use tools for proof-of-value and the piloting of solutions.

Qualifications
3+ years in a similar role working with an ERP, CRM, or HCMS .
1+ years of IT project management experience.
1+ years of organization change management.
Adept with the communication and collaboration tools in Microsoft Office365 and a willing evangelist for their increased adoption.
Experience developing with citizen development tools.
Willingness to work flexible hours to provide the necessary support to user in other geographic regions.
Strong customer service aptitude and demeanor.
Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
College Degree or equivalent work experience in an IT or direct end user support role.

Additional Experience a Strong Plus
Working knowledge of Accounting.
Familiar with work management tools, such as, Azure DevOps and Fresh Service.
Proficient in structured query language (SQL).
