Business Systems AnalystWe’re searching for a functional expert with a passion for systems and process to join our client’s HRIS Team. The HRIS team supports enterprise-wide systems including SAP, BSI, iCIMS, Concur and SuccessFactors. This role will support and enhance our HR-system landscape and interface across the enterprise with various stakeholders. This is a remote position
This Business Systems Analyst role, reporting to the HRIS Manager, will partner with business subject matter experts in Human Resources, Payroll, Tax and other departments to maintain and improve the HRIS environment through project management, process learning and evaluation, functional and technical analysis, and system configuration, often translating concepts between various technical teams and end users. The Business Systems Analyst will use their project management strengths and HR process knowledge to drive results and meet or exceed stakeholder expectations.
Business Systems Analyst Responsibilities
Lead small to medium sized projects, using HR knowledge and project management skills to deliver results with great customer service.
Develop and maintain communications and relationships with key stakeholders, customers, and clients, seeking to understand business processes and anticipate system/process gaps.
Continuously evaluate opportunities for improvement in current functionality or processes, including seeking out opportunities for alignment across the different companies.
Implement process improvements and system enhancements of mid-level complexity to meet customer and business needs.
Manage and enhance HR Systems, prioritizing work coming in through different channels and from different businesses.
Use critical thinking skills to assess change requests through a broad lens, considering upstream and downstream system and process impacts.
Develop and maintain HRIS-specific operation standards, procedures and guidelines.
Complete current state analysis, gap assessments, solution design, future state validation, testing, and implementation.
Develop and implement learning materials in support of systems and processes.
Maintain data in systems and perform audits to keep information clean.
Business Systems Analyst Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
3+ years work experience in human resources, business systems analysis, IT project management, or related.
Overall travel will be limited, however, some travel may be required based on project assignments.
Based on specific role, on-call responsibilities may be required.
Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
