Our client is seeking a Business Analyst to be responsible for working in collaboration with the senior business analyst, implementing and executing on all reporting requirements for the business. This involves development of system reporting, analytical support to interpret data, development of reporting tools, and meeting needs of customers for ad hoc or project data requests.
Business Analyst Responsibilities
Demonstrated quantitative skills and analytical abilities to summarize and interpret descriptive and financial data.
Ability to summarize and describe data results to customers in a way they can use to make operational or clinical decisions.
Demonstrated experience with Tableau, Excel and SQL code as well as EPIC and other EMR data manipulation and transformation.
Proficient in using Excel, other analytical tools and programming languages: Excel, MS SQL Server 2005, Toad for Data.
Analysts or equivalent data management software.
Proficient in using statistical tools: STATA, SAS, R Program or SPSS.
Working knowledge of clinical automated data reporting tools, with the ability to use Crystal reports, or others, to design and distribute information from multiple data sources to customers.
Business Analyst Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science, Computer Science, mathematics, or a related field.
3 years in an analytical role and working with multiple data systems with advanced reporting requirements.
Using logic and reasoning to identify the strength and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusion or approached to problems.
Ability to analyze information, evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
Demonstrated project management skills.
Working knowledge of desktop software applications (e.g., MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, Internet, Email).
Demonstrable working knowledge of spreadsheet, database, word processing and desktop publishing software.
Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Experience in a health care environment.
