Our client is a strong and reputable commercial construction company that is looking for a Bookkeeper to join their team. This position will be responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and complex Payroll functions.
Process weekly payroll and quarterly tax reports.
Full process Accounts payable.
Accounts Receivable, cash postings and update cash report.
Partner with superintendents and project managers to ensure all paperwork is accurate prior to processing.
Process all new hire paperwork and update benefits information.
Assist with various reports.
Special projects as needed.
AA or BA in Accounting or Business.
3+ years of accounting experience; construction experience required.
Demonstrated knowledge of accounting practices and strong knowledge of debits and credits.
Working knowledge of MS Office and intermediate Excel skills.
Knowledge of Viewpoint highly preferred.
Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally.
Able to prioritize and organize numerous tasks and meet deadlines.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
