Our client in Portland, Oregon has an immediate need for a Billing Representative. This role is critical to the organization's success.
Billing Representative Responsibilities
Contact via phone/email regarding changes to billing information, billing set up, and non-payment terminations.
Update system records with collections efforts, amendments, and renewals.
Assist with negotiating payment plans and prepare revised billing statements.
Identify and recommend process and workflow improvements.
Recommend alternative administration options, negotiate exceptions to established procedures.
Work on special projects as needed.
Billing Representative Qualifications
College degree preferred.
1+ years experience in high volume billing, accounts receivables, claims, or customer service.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with multiple or shifting priorities.
Ability to handle sensitive information.
