Our Portland client is seeking a Benefit Processor to join their team. A successful candidate thrives in a dynamic environment and is a dependable team player. The main function of the Benefits Processor is to analyze claim information, make benefit decisions, and provide administrative support for the department.
Benefits Processor Job Responsibilities
Create and send out benefit-related documents.
Identify and analyze important benefit information and enter into related systems.
Set up claims in the system.
Maintain data within databases and spreadsheets.
Ensure all data is accurately entered and compliances with policies.
Provide customer service to external parties by phone related to benefit inquiries.
Overall administrative support to team members.
Benefits Processor Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent education.
6+ months experience in a call center, administrative, or office support role.
Experience from a banking, financial, industry a plus.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Products (Excel and Word).
Well-spoken and written communication skills with a customer service focus.
Strong decision-making skills and ability to learn quickly.
Highly adaptable and motivated.
