Back-End Software Developer
Our client is seeking a Back-End Software Developer to join their dynamic team in Seattle, WA.
Back-End Software Developer Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field (preferred but ok without as long as they have 15+ years of experience).
5+ years of relevant work experience.
3+ year of experience building ETL data pipelines using Apache Airflow or similar tools: Data Exchange, Cleansing, Validation, Standardization.
3+ years of experience building RESTful APIs, preferably with Java or Python.
3+ years of experience with relational databases and/or NoSQL databases (RDS, DynamoDB, Redis, Mongo, Redshift).
Work collaboratively in a cross-functional team (PM, UX, engineering, data science) to transform user stories into prototypes & production code.
Experience developing cloud software services and an understanding of design for scalability, performance, and reliability while protecting customer data.
Ability to analyze, diagnose and resolve complex programming problems, system coordination issues, performance & scale issues.
Ability to work quickly while maintaining strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability and willingness to multi-task and learn new technologies quickly.
Ability to mentor and coach junior team members in technical matters.
Strong communication and organizational skills with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
