Azure DevSecOps Engineer
Our client is a market leader in delivering reliable, cutting-edge health IT and medication management to customers worldwide.
They will be hiring an Azure Cloud Engineer to help build a positive service experience for internal and external customers.
This position will manage cloud architecture and position in cloud environments, with a specific focus on the Microsoft Azure environment.
This position will play a strategic role in developing and maintaining all cloud systems including the front-end platforms, servers, storage, and management networks.
In the first 30 days, this role will evaluate the current Azure platform, develop diagrams, and start to create a plan for what the future look like.
It will be important to collaborate with the .NET Development team, helping them think through what they are building from a security perspective, where they are putting data, considering the customer-facing systems.
Azure DevSecOps Engineer Responsibilities
Create a well-informed Azure cloud strategy and manage the adaption process.
Regularly evaluate cloud applications, hardware, and software.
Develop and organize cloud systems.
Work closely with IT security to monitor the company's cloud privacy.
Work closely with Software Engineering to design solutions to exceed our client’s expectations.
Set up CI/CD pipelines.
Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner.
Offer guidance in infrastructure movement techniques including bulk application transfers into the cloud.
Identify the top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of the company.
Cooperatively provides hands-on job function training to co-workers as needed.
Must understand and comply with Safety, 5S, ISO, and other corporate programs, initiatives and procedures; support initial and ongoing CMH ISO 9001 certification.
Dependable and consistent attendance is critical for team performance and productivity.
Azure DevSecOps Engineer Qualifications
2+ years of experience as an Azure DevOps Engineer.
Experience creating scalable architecture with Azure that meets business needs.
Understanding of IT Security best practices.
GDPR standards knowledge.
SQL database knowledge, writing queries.
Azure development experience.
