Avaya Telecom Engineer 
Our client is seeking an Avaya Telecom Engineer to join their team in Portland, OR. 

Required Qualifications
(Note: 7 years’ total experience can meet qualifications below if all qualifications are obtained concurrently in that same span of time).
Minimum 7 years’ direct experience supporting Avaya telecommunications environments in greater that 5000 endpoint, multi-location organizations.
Minimum 5 years’ direct and demonstratable experience supporting Avaya/Verint call center applications. Candidates without this experience will not be considered.
Minimum 3 years’ direct experience with in the development of telecommunications roadmaps in the Avaya space.
Minimum 1-year direct experience with SIP service install, configuration and management.
High aptitude for interpreting and using technical documentation and authoring or updating technical documents and procedures using Word, Excel, Visio, and Wiki.
Experience organizing and reviewing the work of other technical IT staff. Team lead experience preferred
Experience in training junior personnel.
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical staff and managers.
Self-starter, with strong organizational and task management skills.
Desired Qualifications
Experienced in the architecture design for new Avaya telecom installations.
Avaya CM 7.x Certified.
Experience with Avaya Contact Center Express.
Experience with Avaya Call Management System (v6 and V7).
Experience with Avaya Application Enablement Server.
Experience with Avaya Call Center Elite Multichannel.
Experience with Avaya Session Border Controllers.
SIP Certification.
Avaya Breeze.
ASPS/ACSS preferred.
Understanding of PII, PCI and HIPPA security requirements.
Experience with Lucent 5 ESS a big plus.
