Associate Manager Marketing
The Associate Marketing Manager reports to the Marketing Manager or Marketing Director. He or she will develop close working relationships with managers of assigned programs, services, institutions and organizations within the company to provide marketing guidance and meet their marketing and communication needs consistent with the marketing strategy. To meet the needs of those served, the Associate Marketing Manager works closely with writers, designers, Web designers and producers, the production coordinator and other members of the regional marketing and communications division.
The Associate Marketing Manager develops and manages marketing and communications plans to support the operations of our highest profile programs, services, institutions and organizations.
Associate Manager Marketing Responsibilities
Establishing marketing as a core competency and help evolve the way we connect with and deliver inspiring brand experiences to consumers, employers, patients, physicians, and other key audiences.
Developing strong rapport and establishing professional credibility and a consultative relationship with business partners and senior leaders in the department.
Leading a multi-functional team of professionals to deliver high quality marketing and communication deliverables on time and within budget, consistent with Marketing and Communication's strategic plans.
Juggling multiple projects and priorities effectively in a matrix organization.
Must feel comfortable working in an environment of rapid change and be willing to respond to changing priorities.
Assists Marketing Manager or Marketing Director in the development of marketing plans for highest profile business or service lines.
Enhances these plans by contributing ideas that enable the company to better connect with the target audiences needs and perspective and improve their experience.
Independently leads marketing plan execution.
Coordinates with assigned writers, designers, web designers and Web producers to complete high quality marketing and communications programs and materials on time and within budget, consistent with approved plans.
Leads the creative process from creative brief development to creative direction and approval, demonstrating strong marketing and creative instincts and judgment.
Manages Marketing and Communication Services budget for assigned area(s) of responsibility.
Participates in the development of business and marketing strategy for assigned area(s) of responsibility.
May work directly with business partners to assess their business objectives and needs, provide marketing and communications counsel and collaborate on the development and execution of marketing and communications plans.
Establishes strong relationships with business partners and team members through strong rapport, effective communication and strong project management skills.
Associate Manager Marketing Qualifications
Strong knowledge of marketing and communications fundamentals, proven by instincts and past strategic and creative work.
Knowledge of the latest consumer and marketing trends (and in the case of applicants, business, business marketing trends).
Highly professional; highly collaborative; effective in working with various levels of people, including senior management, in an organization; and the proven ability to lead others.
Natural inclination to take initiative and assume full ownership of projects.
Must exhibit a keen understanding of consumer behavior and strong creative and marketing instincts and contribute these insights to strategic planning, the creative process, marketing plan development and tactical execution.
Ability to effectively manage internal and external parties to deliver work against time, quality and budget expectations.
Client management skills (relationship building, communication and influencing skills).
Critical thinking skills and initiative and effectiveness in problem solving.
Ability to present with authority, confidence and a high level of subject matter expertise.
Must be a confident, effective written and verbal communicator.
Strong project management skills to flawlessly manage multiple projects and constituencies in a fast paced environment.
Interest in working in health care is required.
Microsoft Office Suite and some familiarity with layout/ design tools and Web publishing.
