Associate Design QA Editors are responsible for reviewing data merges and document logic for dynamic mailings to verify output accuracy. The willingness to learn quality analysis techniques and new software is vital for success in this role. Associate Design QA Editors will be working on multiple aspects of multiple projects simultaneously at the direction of our Workforce Team. Additionally, will be expected to build relationships intra and interdepartmentally in a remote environment.
Associate Design QA Editor Responsibilities
Review data merges and document logic for dynamic mailings to verify output.
Perform quality analysis on forms and designs from end to end, covering functional and technical requirements.
Discuss client needs and requirements with various internal stakeholders.
Learn and adhere to Design Operations development workflows and processes.
Participate in department special projects to improve internal process.
Appropriately escalate project roadblocks.
Associate Design QA Editor Qualifications
Bachelors degree in English or 2 years comparable experience.
1 to 2 years hands-on experience with the following:
Proofreading, line editing, copy editing, developmental editing, and fact checking, and maintaining accuracy over multiple iterations.
Proven demonstrated ability to build relationships in a remote environment.
Proven demonstrated ability to work under a deadline.
Proven demonstrated ability to follow regimented instructions while learning new software.
Proven demonstrated ability track complex details.
Proven demonstrated ability to learn and implement quality assurance practices of data files.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing; able to adjust for intended audience.
Any hands-on experience with the following is not required but would be preferred:
Agile and waterfall project methodologies.
Quality assurance of data files.
Project management software, such as Jira.
Handling confidential/sensitive company information.
