Assistant Tax Manager Responsibilities
Support tax compliance and reporting.
Serve as a point of contact to outside vendors and consultants.
Review GL accounts to identify tax discrepancies.
Prepare income taxes and share findings.
Assist with international tax compliance while reviewing tax returns, deductions, and tax credits.
Ensure local taxes are compliant such as V&O taxes, sales taxes, and property taxes.
Estimate payments and cash flows by forecasting.
Support ad-hoc tax-related projects.
Assistant Tax Manager Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Tax, Business, or related; CPA preferred.
4+ years experience handling corporate multi-level tax; experience with a large organization highly preferred.
Proficient using accounting systems and Microsoft Office.
Great communication skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Driven and takes initiative.
