Assistant Controller
Our Portland industrial client is looking for an Assistant Controller to join their dynamic team and oversee their accounting department. If you’re looking to be a part of a growing organization in a position with long-term growth potential, this could be the opportunity for you!  

Responsibilities of the Assistant Controller
Oversee daily accounting functions and manage accounting projects.
Update and implement accounting policy, best practice, and process improvements.
Develop, train, and mentor accounting team.
Financial statements and footnotes.
Financial reporting.
Revenue recognition.
Manage lease accounting.
Oversee corporate tax processing.
Monitor KPIs and accounting metrics..
Manage internal audit processes and serve as point of contact for external audits.
Other special projects and duties as assigned.

Assistant Controller Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
10+ years of progressively responsible hands-on accounting experience with experience in a managerial role.
Public accounting and company experience preferred. 
Multi-entity company experience highly preferred.
Ability to implement accounting processes.
MS Office Suite experience, with intermediate skills in Excel. BI tools experience; Tableau preferred.

Salary: $115-125K with bonus potential
