Administrative Support Specialist
Our client is hiring an Administrative Support Specialist for their team in Beaverton, Oregon. In this role you have broad responsibilities providing manager administrative support, supporting the members services team, and providing general project support. The primary function will be projects and manager support and will make up approximately 80% of the work load. During this time, your outstanding written and verbal communication skills will ensure that information is presented in a clear, positive, collaborative way, assuring that teammates and other employees are given reliable and current information. Strong presentation creation and delivery skills are needed, as well as ability to work cross functionally with high level stakeholders. In your work supporting the member services team, your ability to consistently administer defined procedures and document exceptions while providing excellent customer service is critical. As a member of our high-performing team it will be your responsibility to be curious and aware, offering suggestions and taking on projects that will help us strengthen our customer relationships and maintain the safety and integrity of our brand and facilities. 

Administrative Support Specialist Responsibilities
Create and deliver presentations to key stakeholders and internal staff.
Monitor and manage email/calendar accounts.
Complete assigned project work.
Welcome, greet, and register Members and guests in a friendly, expedient and courteous manner. 
Effectively and successfully handle competing priorities.
Provide service in a professional manner.
Understand and be able to use key sport software: membership management, smartsheets, etc. 
Answer and direct phone calls.
Organize and schedule appointments.
Plan meetings and take detailed minutes.
Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms.
Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
Update and maintain office policies and procedures.
Book travel arrangements.
Submit and reconcile expense reports.
Provide general support to visitors.
Liaise with executive and senior administrative assistants to handle requests and queries from senior managers.

Administrative Support Specialist Qualifications
College degree in a related field.
Two to three years’ work experience in an administrative position is required.
The ability to stand on feet for long-periods of time.  Ability to lift 50lbs or more.
Availability to work shifts varying between 4:30 a.m. – 9:30 p.m. weekdays and weekends required.
Requires the ability to frequently move between building/desk locations to meet schedule needs.
Approachability with positive interpersonal skills. 
Outstanding verbal and written communication; excellent personal and phone presence.
Proven working knowledge of PC, MS Office, Powerpoint, Outlook software and keyboarding skills.
Able to communicate using active listening to determine course of action in challenging situations.
Relevant experience in a complex, high-volume environment is preferred.
Fitness, health and sport experience/expertise preferred.
