Administrative Services Assistant
Our client is hiring an Administrative Services Assistant for their team in Portland, Oregon.
Administrative Services Assistant Responsibilities
Keep and update records and prepare statistical reports concerning hires, transfers, profile changes, and terminations.
Support our Contingent Workforce Program office - admin duties, prepare presentations (PowerPoint and Excel), expert in reporting and gathering stats.
Help maintain and audit our contingent workforce list and keep up to do with codes, start and end dates, manager, supplier, etc
Chance to assist in elevating the Contingent Workforce Program to make it optimal for the business.
Involvement with our marketing, branding, etc to the business of our program.
Candidate will be providing overall administrative and technical support to Corporate Personnel Administration.
Contract Employee and Contract Agency Data Base, start date, end date, rate, report to manager, coding, etc (in both Peoplesoft, excel, Workday).
Provide corporate office temporary employment needs, coordinate placement, and follow up to assure company performance standards are met.
Good working knowledge of Excel is a must have.
Knowledge of peoplesoft or Workday would be a plus.
Manage pool email box.
Manage form from the business and check for accuracy before inputting info.
Able to communicate well, have difficult conversations, deal with all kinds of personalities and handle them in a polite and professional manner.
Experience working with a large organization would be a plus.
Able to multi-task and be self-driven.
Great attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
Compliant handling of sensitive information is a must.
Administrative Services Assistant Qualifications
2-4 years related experience required in a personnel function requiring effective communication skills and discretionary use of confidential information is required.
Must have excellent PC skills to include database, spreadsheet and word processing proficiency.
Must have problem definition, data collection, and fact-finding experience.
PeopleSoft or Workday experience a plus Excellent excel, database, spreadsheet work is a must.
Experience working on Powerpoint presentations for exec level as well as reporting analytics is a plus.
