Our healthcare client has an immediate opening for an Admin Coordinator to join their team. This role is highly cross-functional working with multiple departments and external contacts.
Admin Coordinator Responsibilities
Review daily patient lists, comments, appointments, and insurance information.
Determine coverage, benefits, and preferred vendors/providers for specific individual needs.
Document all services arranged, referrals and continuous updates.
Follow up with referrals and insurance companies.
Create and maintain forms; Fax, photocopy, and mail documents.
Process payments/deposits for patient needs.
Participate in new employee orientations.
Extract data and create reports for appointment information.
Admin Coordinator Qualifications
4 years of general office or secretarial experience or Associates or Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of office experience.
Experience in a hospital/healthcare setting preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with EPIC, Oracle preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to analyze data, manage multiple priorities, and problem solve.
