Our client is seeking to add an Actuarial Analyst to their team. This role can be located in Springfield, Oregon or Boise, Idaho. This organization provides outstanding benefits and is growing tremendously.
Actuarial Analyst Responsibilities
Establish formulas and guidelines for rating of existing and prospective contracts.
Analyze trends needed to determine revenue requirements for financial forecasting.
Review requirements and identify information needed to assess risk, cost, and utilization, and financial impact.
Produce reports for various internal teams.
Offer technical expertise regarding rating and benefit evaluation making recommendations regarding methods to reduce costs.
Support rate filing process and other compliance activities.
Respond to inquiries and present information to a variety of individuals.
Other duties as assigned.
Actuarial Analyst Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, quantitative economics, or related field required.
Actuarial experience and healthcare background preferred.
Passed one or more actuarial exams required.
Ability to identify problems, develop and implement solutions.
Excellent computer and communication skills.
Able to analyze and interpret documents and information.
