Accounts Receivable Specialist
Our local client is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their accounting team in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment. This is a great opportunity to get a foot in the door at a well-known Portland company!

Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Specialist
Daily cash and check posting.
Process wire transfers and cash receipts.
Account and variance reconciliation and approval.
Monthly application of miscellaneous receipts.
Assist with month-end closing and prepare monthly compliance reporting.
Respond to customer inquiries and resolve account discrepancies. 
Maintain AR documentation and records.
Other AR duties as assigned.

Accounts Receivable Specialist Qualifications
Associates degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
2 years of AR and cash application experience required.
Knowledge of GAAP.
ERP systems knowledge; Oracle or NetSuite a plus.
Intermediate Excel skills and proficient with 10-key.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
Organized multitasker with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
