Accounts Payable Specialist
Our Pacific Northwest client has an outstanding reputation and is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist with a solid work history to handle invoice processing and other AP duties for their finance team in Portland. This is a nice opportunity to get one's foot in the door at a company with great benefits!

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist
Process vendor invoices and AP data entry.
Process sub-contractor payables and lien releases.
Prepare electronic payment approval forms.
Reconcile past due invoices.
Respond to vendor and supplier inquiries; follow up and investigate discrepancies.
Audit invoice batches.
Track W-9s.
Maintain AP records and files.
Other duties as assigned.

Accounts Payable Specialist Qualifications
Associate degree in Accounting a plus.
2+ years of full-process AP experience; construction experience a plus.
Strong knowledge of job costing and GAAP.
ERP systems experience; Viewpoint highly preferred.
Proficient with MS Office.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer service focus.
Organized multitasker with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
