Our Portland client is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to support their AP team on a temporary basis in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment. This role requires someone who is dedicated, resourceful, and displays a positive attitude.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist
Large volume full process AP invoicing.
Respond to vendor and employee AP inquiries.
Complex account reconciliations.
Review ERP system entries for duplicate and incorrect payment information.
Vendor term agreements review and reconciliation.
Accounts Payable Specialist Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree a plus.
1-2 years of AP experience in a mid to large company, with basic account coursework complete.
Knowledge of GAAP.
MS Office Suite experience, with proficiency in Excel and Word.
ERP systems knowledge; Oracle preferred.
10-key by touch.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
Organized multitasker with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Can work independently and as part of a team.
