Our Pacific Northwest manufacturing client is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to support AP and general ledger functions cross-functionally across the company. This is an excellent opportunity to gain professional development and experience within a rapidly growing company!
Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist
Process AP invoices.
Three-way match invoices to POs.
Quarterly and annual AP reporting.
Maintain AP records.
Account research, analysis, and reconciliations.
Support month-end close.
Monitor PO processing activity as needed.
Special projects and duties as assigned.
Accounts Payable Specialist Qualifications
Associate degree in Accounting or equivalent education and experience required.
3+ years of accounting experience, with knowledge of AP processing.
Knowledge of GAAP.
MS Office Suite experience, with skills in Excel, Outlook, and Word.
ERP systems knowledge.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
Organized multitasker with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Can work independently and as part of a team.
